N-CIS has installed a VOIP phone system for Sight Concern Bedfordshire. Each member of staff now has their own phone number and answerphone service with no increase in cost over the previous phone contract. This has allowed staff to provide Direct Dial numbers to their key clients, which has reduced the number of switchboard calls and improved communications. Sight Concern Bedfordshire’s staff are mobile; working between offices and out in the community. The VOIP system set up by N-CIS allows all answerphone messages to be sent to staff e-mails. Staff can then easily access their answerphone messages using smart phones while out of the office. This functionality has proved valuable. Overall we are pleased with our move to VOIP.
